We recommend a specific formula of glue for bonding the rubber to the nylon wheel. Your local
hobby shop should know which one to use but the important thing is to make sure the glue is a Cyanoacrylate (CA) type. Another thing to consider is the thickness of the glue. The thicker the glue the longer it will take to dry. So, if you are new to tire mounting you may want to stick with thicker glue at first so you can reposition the tire if it gets off-center. Once you have some experience you can move to thin glue because it’s faster drying. We currently offer
Pro-Line tire glue and
rubber bands for mounting.
